Visit to a Blind School

Visit to a Blind School

On 13th of September, as a part of our CAS project some of our G11 students went to a blind school. The blind school was located in the center of Bangkok, Phaya Thai. There were around 50 kids which some of them were visually impaired and some who were completely blind. We handed them over snacks, drinks, special books, and canes that were specially bought for them. These small little things meant everything to them and they expressed gratitude towards us in the sweetest way. All the kids were very active, cheerful and appreciative of everything they received despite not having vision. We planned some really fun activities for them and those happy faces was a pleasure to witness. It gave us some lessons to appreciate ourselves and to be grateful for what we have. Overall it was a unique experience for all of us and we’re so glad that we were a part of this amazing project.
