PAIS Joins Thai Government Flood Relief Program

The south of Thailand has been hammered by heavy rain which caused flooding, roof-high in some areas, affecting millions of people. The Government of Thailand launched a cause to help these people in the south, and Pan-Asia International School found itself deeply connected to this cause.

Once again, PAIS started an initiative to go above and beyond the call of duty to support those who are in need. Through the help from the community and parents, the school has accumulated a total of ThB 24,000 and has collected stuff necessary to donate for the Flood Relief Project.

On Tuesday, 24 January 2017, PAIS Thai Director, Ms. Sumalee Wichaidit, Teacher, Ms. Asli Polat, PTA Representatives, Ms. Phetdara Intakham and Mrs. Nidhiporn Visitchaichan, and Student Representatives, Mikail Kara and Muhammed Talha Dede, went to the Government House and MCOT to present them with the PAIS contributions, in hopes that it will help provide the flood victims with the resources they need to continue their endeavors.
