PAIS Appreciates the Donors of the Charity for the King

PAIS gathered to join the last school assembly for the first semester on Wednesday, 14 December 2016. The PAIS family would like to say “THANK YOU” for making this semester challenging in spite of the country’s current predicament.

In honor of our late H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Pan-Asia International School have organized charitable works that exemplify the kindness and goodness the Father of Thailand have shown through his works and ministries across the land. This cause was conducted during our visit at the Grand Palace last 29th of November, 2016 where we expressed our love and tribute to the King as PAIS distributed food, bottled water, and herb inhalers to the mourners.

The success of this outreach project should be given credit to the following:

To our SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS who have approved of the project due to its humane cause of reaching out to mourners and a way of expressing our heartfelt empathy to all.
To COORDINATORS, TEACHERS, AND STAFF who have supported along the way through sharing of information, publications, and involvement.
To our CAS students from Grade 11 and Grade 12 who were the work force of this wonderful project and who leveraged time in distributing these goods even with the crowd and enduring the heat without complaining.

Yet, this activity will never be attained without the support coming from the DONORS, who shared their blessings through the kindness of their heart. Because of them, we were able to raise funds worth 48,000 baht. It was beyond the school’s expectations that we were able to give 2,333 pieces of herb inhalers, 1,500 pieces of bread, 500 bottled water, and black ribbons to the mourners.

PAIS gives due appreciation to our valuable donors whose participation have greatly brought success. The school hopes to continue to have activities like this in the future. It creates opportunity to all in becoming responsible citizens of the global community working together as one in PAIS.
